Wedding planning comes with a lot of questions, and I’m here to help! From choosing the right level of support to understanding what happens on your wedding day, I want you to feel confident, prepared, and excited every step of the way. Here are a few answers to questions couples often ask. As always, my goal is to make your planning process stress-free, so let’s start here!
I just got engaged! What do I do first?

First things first, celebrate! Then, start thinking about your vision, approximate guest count, budget, and ideal location. These details will help narrow down venue options, and your venue’s availability will often determine your wedding date.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone! I’d love to help you explore venues and navigate those first big decisions. You don’t need to have a venue booked before reaching out!
Do I really need a day-of coordinator or planner?

Honestly? Yes! You’ve invested so much into creating your dream wedding, and you deserve to enjoy every moment of it without worrying about the details. From managing vendors and setting up decor to coordinating your wedding party, directing the ceremony, and overseeing cleanup, my team and I work behind the scenes to bring your vision to life.
The best part? You got to enjoy your day. Even better? Your family got to enjoy it too!
Ask your photographer, DJ, caterer, or venue, and they’ll tell you the same thing: a quality wedding coordinator is worth the investment.
What does planning with you look like?

I use Google Drive to keep all your planning documents organized and easily accessible. During our first meeting, I’ll walk you through the system, explain what you’ll be responsible for, and show you what I’ll take care of. After each meeting, you’ll receive notes and a custom, achievable to-do list to complete before our next check-in.
Depending on your package, we’ll work together on your wedding timeline, venue floor plan, and other important details so you feel organized, supported, and confident as your wedding day approaches!
Have you worked at my venue before?

I’ve worked at a variety of venues throughout the Triangle and have a few favorites, but I also have a bucket list of venues I’d love to work at! If I haven’t worked at your venue before, I’ll be just as excited about the opportunity. After booking, I’ll arrange a vendor tour to familiarize myself with the space, rules, and regulations so I can best prepare for your day. This courtesy tour is separate from the meetings included in your package.
If your venue requires proof of insurance or vendor references, I’m happy to provide those as well!
